What happens during your Fios installation?

This is Rohan, a Fios tech. He’s going to show you.

To start with, plan where you’d like your TV and router to go.

On installation day, you can see when your tech will arrive using the My Fios app.

Once they arrive, they’ll chat with you about your devices and where you use them. They’ll work with you to find the best place for your TV, the router, and the terminal that converts the 100% fiber connection into TV, voice, and data.

Now it’s time to bring the fiber into your home. They might need to drill a small hole, but don’t worry, they’ll chat with you first.

Next, they’ll connect the terminal to the nearest outlet.

And finally, the tech will make sure that your set-top box and router are connected, ensure your devices are connected to the Wi-Fi, and answer any questions you might have.

Success! You’re good to go.
